WhatIWore: The spring Oscar de la Renta collection was nothing short of gorgeous. There are so many things that jumped out at me about this show - the big hair and crocheted dresses, sweaters and skirts were like a flower child meets lady who lunches (in the absolutely best way possible). I loved the use of color, especially neon yellowish/green.  I loved the painterly vertically striped silk made into day dresses.  I loved the embroidered red and yellow flowers on a bright white ground.

And another thing that made the show special to me was the environment. After the show I found myself next to Mr. de la Renta, touched his arm and said “Beautiful.”  A few minutes later I made eye contact with Valentino. A girl’s fashion dream doesn’t get much bigger than this. It was amazing. I’m so grateful to see such amazing clothing and witness such a marvelous event.

I’d love to hear what’s your favorite look of the collection as well!
