WhatIWore: I absolutely LOVED the Milly Spring/Summer 2012 collection.  While utilitizing many of the silhouettes the Milly girl has come to love (pretty pleated dresses, an A-line shift and cropped jackets), the show was updated in fresh, geometric prints.  I was able to interview Michelle before the show backstage and she shared that she traveled to Italy to look through vintage archived fabrics for her inspiration.

I loved the color scheme of intense and saturated blues, reds and oranges - which all looked beautiful against white.

I also really liked the details in the styling - like the quirky oversized animal pins (especially the fox) placed over the graphic prints, or the neck high matching silk scarves.  Some of the shoes are also part of a limited-edition Milly for Sperry Top-Sider collection.

All in all, this is absolutely the kind of clothing I love to wear! Now I can’t wait for spring! What do you think?
