Why:
I’ll make a long story (kinda) short. I was excited for the rain this morning. I had a vintage dress all picked out to wear with the wellies and slicker. When I put it on, this filmy/dusty was brushing off onto my skin. My guess is that it’s 1960’s dry cleaning and should probably be re-cleaned.  Oh well.

We were on our way out the door, so I had to think fast and went for this cutey little all season dress instead.  I have some hesitations about yellow and black together (they were my high school colors), but for a rain jacket combo - it works. 

The only problem with planning an outfit around your rainy day wear is when it ENDS UP NOT RAINING FOR THE REST OF THE DAY.  On the bright side, I just got a new pair of mega cute ballet flats in the mail today to swap out with! Lesson? There’s always a silver lining!!
