Why:
You guys are going to think I’m nuts. I watched Annie Hall again last night. In fairness, Adam had never seen the film and I could watch it on repeat. It’s no surprise, then, that today I’m in an Annie like get up. Did you know that Diane Keaton’s father called her Diannie? And that her real last name is Hall? And she got to style herself for the iconic film? And I don’t even have her memoire yet (but it’s in the mail)!!
I say this time and time again, but I love the transformative power of fashion. If I wanna dress up like Annie Hall, boo ya! I can! If I want to be a Parisian girl on a bike - I can! It’s a grown up, day by day game of dress up. My Tuesday Diane Keaton inspired outfit was a lot less literal, but the elements carry over - hat, turtleneck, upturned collar.
