Why:
Who in the world wishes for a foggy, rainy day? Um. Me. But just this once! I finally ordered a pair of L.L. Bean boots (just the basic kind) and I was wishin’ and hopin’ for a wet day to wear ‘em. 

I’ve definitely seen my big purchases make a shift since relocating to Indiana. I’m so much more focused on sturdy, wear forever type stuff, even it costs a lot more. Silk blouses instead of cheapy polyester versions. Wool trousers instead of synthetic blends. Better coats and boots too. As much as I like to experiment with my clothes, I think this kind of shopping reflects that I’m honing in on my style. I’m ok with not wearing glitter booties. I can’t do crazy cut out tops. I’m a part vintage lover, part every day jeans and button down girl… and I like it.
