Where: Sunday Luncheon with Friends

Why: I think this set of photos is a really good example of a look good, feel good philosophy in action.  Normally on Sundays I skip “getting ready” in favor of throwing on whatever’s comfy and warm and don’t do my hair or makeup.  Today I did the opposite. I washed and dried (and curled!) my hair and did a little tinted moisturizer, lip gloss and mascara.  I wore my new J.Crew button up with a very old scarf and to keep it from being too sweet (pale pink can do that for ya), I matched it up with a sturdy, outdoorsy jacket (which reminds me very much of Lindsay from Freaks and Geeks).  Jeans are my de rigueur weekend choice but neutral heels dress them up a bit.  In short, I like it. I like it a lot.
