WhatIWore: Even though my day job isn’t designing clothes anymore, I still like to sketch when I dream up a design or an outfit.  So… when FASHIONARY asked if I’d like to try out their sketchbook, I gladly said yes.

I received the FASHIONARY sketch book this morning and its amazing!! I wish I would have had it during school - the front is reference manual for design details, croquis proportions, pattern pieces and spec sheets and the body of the sketch book is little teeny dotted outlines of a figure.  Tooting my own horn here to say I think sketching is one of my stronger suits in the design world, but this is incredible! I did the little sketch above in just 5 mintues. And everything is proportional and cute! Gah! I love it.

So… if you’re in design school or have ever wanted to play fashion designer, I really suggest you check out this book. I would have loved to see this on the required textbook list back in school.

And get this… its less than a Moleskin!
