Where: Studio and Luncheon

Why: From time to time, someone will ask about my inspiration for an outfit. Sometimes it’s from another gal I’ve seen on the street, a page in a magazine, but often times, it comes from other bloggers. I came across this image from Karla and knew I wanted to pair my new yellow skirt with something leopard. I was also on the fence about this scarf but imagining the duo together made me take the plunge (plus it was on sale at Target, and not a huge investment). 

The rest of the outfit is inspired by the chic pack of editors I see each NYFW. This looks like something Joanna Hillman might wear (the gal’s got a love for leopard too!). I love the juxtaposition of polished office pieces (skirt, blouse and pumps) with the tougher leather jacket and chains (bracelet and bag). This is going down as a favorite, folks! Can’t wait to wear it again!
