WhatIWore: As I head to Colorado this weekend, I’m thinking about how to wear my favorite army jacket. Sheri found this similar version at Topshop and we’ve both styled it in our own unique ways.
Jessica’s Take: I like the contrast of the soft, washed olive green and a bright mulberry purple jean. Under the coat, I’d go with my classic standby - a beat up chambray button down. On my feet I’d wear a low cognac riding boot. To finish it off I’d add a colorful scarf, which pulls all the colors together (and would work with a lot of other items in my closet).
Elements: Chambray, Scarf, Jeans, Boots
Sheri’s Take: Neutral jackets are the perfect compliment to a bold pant. I’m a big fan of flannel and plaid, so when I saw these crops, my inner lumberjack began to swoon. I’d keep things simple by pairing them with a basic gray t-shirt and classic black flats. Then polish off the look with a black statement piece and a fuzzy knit hat to keep you warm.
Elements: Hat, Tee, Necklace, Pants, Shoes
