Jacket: Denim and Supply Ralph Lauren* (similar)

Where: Studio
Why: I always have these grand plans of putting on some killer heels, tights and a pretty dress on Monday morning, but when I saw the wind chill for today (8F?!?!) I decided it was a better idea to bundle up.
This one is nothing special, but I think it is a good illustration of how you can remix things you already love in new ways. Take this gingham shirt for example - here’s a collage of 4 ways I’ve worn it (plus one, two, three, four, five more). Not bad, right?!
I’m also digging a the unusual color combo with the olive, maroon and black. You could just as easily replicate this outfit with blue jeans and brown boots too. For me, what pulls it all together are the berry toned lips and the glam (DIY!) ski hat. Now I’ll take that hot cup of coffee!!
I’ll leave you with one of my favorite quotes of all time, especially appropriate on Martin Luther King Day. “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” - MLK
