Why: Holy cow, it’s five degrees out. I realize a lot of you live in even colder climates, but this is as cold as I can remember since we moved back to Indiana. I mean, FIVE DEGREES IS COLD.  Brrrrrrr. 

So when it’s this frigid, you’ve got to get dressed with a plan. I get a ride to work and back each day from Adam, so I knew I wouldn’t be outside longer than it took to do outfit photos. I’m wearing two pairs of opaque heavy denier tights, a sweater skirt, a turtle neck, scarf and leather jacket for the most warmth. I’ve found that this jacket and my faux leopard coat are probably the two warmest in my closet. Leather gloves go a long way too.  If I were to make this EVEN warmer, I think I could have layered on another sweater and done leather boots instead of pumps.
