Why: I’m on a mission this year to make the most of winter. Normally I wish it away in hopes of an early spring. I tend to get bored with my clothes around this point in the season, so I’ll be mixing in some great winter sale purchases, some early spring buys and everything else I already have to put together the best outfits I can muster.
I’m playing around with a new format in my WHAT section above as well- breaking down ensembles into basics, statement pieces and accessories. It’s all about how you mix and remix those together to keep things fresh. It’s a fun challenge that I’m going to make the most of. Let me know if this is helpful for you!
That said, a new buy can really change the way you look at what’s hanging in your wardrobe. Let’s face it - I wear the chambray + jeans + boots combo A LOT. But this bright neon coral sweater makes it so different from, say, this outfit. I’m excited to wear this statement sweater again before spring is here - perhaps with black tights and a pencil skirt? We’ll see!
