Why: We’ve got a forecast of nothing by rain, rain, rain this week, so I’m determined to make up some practical, stylish looks to stay dry. It’s been a while since I’ve pulled out my green MARC by Marc rain boots, but I’m glad I did. These were the ultimate investment when I was a college student - they cost around $125 and I bought them during my summer internship at Betsey Johnson. But here I am - 8 years later and still loving them!

You’ll also see I’m wearing my favorite plaid shirt again this week to play on the green of the boots. I’m also mixing black and navy… purposefully. I like the preppy feel of the peacoat and I think there’s something very chic about mixing black and navy. To finish it all off - a bright, hot pink lipstick and I’m siiiiiinging in the rain!
