Where: Driving to the airport to pick up Adam and lunch
Why: Today I went for comfort knowing I had two hours to spend in the car en route and back from the airport. I’m kind of in limbo with my pants right now. Since starting the Whole30, my body composition has changed and I’m in need of a new pair. Wowza! On one hand, YAY!! On the other, now I’m on the hunt for new jeans. I’ve always invested in my denim because I wear it so much, but I’m going to prioritize and first buy a skinny jean versus a boyfriend style as shown here. I guess it took wearing ‘em out (even with a belt) to see that I need to retire these indefinitely.
I went out to you guys on twitter and asked about great denim for a budget at or under $150, but I’d love to hear from more of you! Looking for a dark wash, cropped length, skinny but not skin tight. Please drop me a note on facebook and I hope to go shopping or order a pair this week!
Another idea for for those of you who are making major strides with your healthy life habits, but aren’t ready to sink cash into tailored or fitted garments like denim - try a dash of color. I got this scarf on the street in NYC for $10 and it takes a so-so outfit and makes it so much more fun. Stores like Target have awesome brights in stock right now that won’t break the bank and can be a fixture in your wardrobe as you make progress!
