Why:
Yesterday was all about being practical. On Monday night I stepped on a tiny chip of glass or something that lead me no choice but to wear tennies yesterday. There’s just something so dang American about a white tee, jean jacket and floral skirt and I just love it.  The tee actually has some tone on tone embroidery that you can see in person which makes it a bit more special than a Hanes 3 pack. I’m loving my jean jacket and throwing it over everything and it also makes a sweet spot to sit on when sunning in the grass. Let me also caution that while the skirt is too cute, it is also too short to be riding a bicycle (I walked my bike to the park and realized once I arrived).

Let’s talk about the bike!?!? My old beater had finally bit the dust… it’s just too rusty and heavy to be riding up and down the hills of Park Slope. So a week or two ago after a great meeting (and saving for a good while), I went to Brooklyn Bikes and picked out my new baby. I’m calling her Jacqueline!
