This was actually on our last full day in Paris and we squeezed in a good amount of tourist adventures. I’m happy to report that Adam and I were often mistaken for Frenchmen (or German, or Dutch) which was TOO COOL*. First off, STRIPES ARE HOT. Everyone was wearing stripes - children, young women, older women and men. I could not go without 5 minutes without seeing someone in stripes. I’m so happy I packed two Breton tees for the occasion. Also - TRENCHES! A big thing in Paris. And finally - the scarf. Yes, it’s a bit stereotypical, but loads of Parisians wear scarfs (either gauzy double wrapped or knotted silk).
*Ok, sure, maybe it was a very drunk Scotsman on Rue St. Germain pointing at people, cursing a great deal, but he was pointing at everyone sitting outside and when he looked at Adam and I, he just said “You’re too f&*^ing French!!!”
I’ll be posting all of my Paris outfits this week along with some great photos from the trip! We had the best time of our lives!
