WhatIWore: A super simple project for a summer scarf for just around $10 and under an hour’s worth of time! Instructions after the jump!

Supplies:
- Gauzy cotton fabric
- Pompon trim
- Matching thread

For this project, I selected a loosely woven white cotton fabric. It came off the bolt at 36” wide, so I bought a yard to make it a square 3x3 scarf. For enough pompons to completely trim the scarf, you’ll need 4 times your fabric yardage.
As with any sewing project, you’re going to want to wash and dry your fabric first.
Now, with your clean fabric ready go to, double press under your edges (I turned mine 1/4” both times).

Pin your trim to the scarf edge with the poms on the wrong side of your scarf.

Stitch away!!

And that’s it!! This seriously easy project took under 1 hour to complete (minus wash/dry).
