Why:
I have a thing for vintage, but I also have a thing for modern styles that nod to the years gone by. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m very much into the 50s housewife/Betty Draper flare and I love how this dress embodies that look.  I went with flats and this darling wicker bag and couldn’t resist carrying around an estate sale find that one of my really wonderful readers sent my way.

Another thing - I’m loving gingham for spring/summer. I’ve actually never seen grey/white check until this dress. Trust me, this is gonna be something I repeat. Don’t forget there’s a 20% off sale right now at Lesley Evers - check it out!

ALSO… Today (May 28th) is my fifth year anniversary of moving to NYC. Just 5 years ago I moved to NYC (into a dorm) with two suitcases and $183 (plus my first month’s rent). Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
