Why:
By far, the most Cinderella, out of this world, fashion type thing I’ve done while in New York City is to attend Oscar de la Renta runway shows. So ladylike! So chic! So I needed an outfit that felt a like a little of both plus nice and summery. I think I was the only gal in the audience in green too (which Oscar showed in at least two looks!)

ALSO!! (big also!) I tweeted at Joe Zee before the show and after his response, I got up the courage to say hi. Trust me, my knees were shaking. I always get nervous around public figures but I managed to be articulate and he also intro’d me to Robbie Myers, the Editor-in-Chief of ELLE magazine. Well, I felt cool. Let’s just say that.

Did anyone watch it on the livestream? I heard a couple of people spotted me before the show (HOW NEAT IS THAT??!).  For those of you who didn’t catch it, I’ll post my favorite looks and a few snaps as soon as I can put a post together.

**pssst - this dress is GREEN. I’d call it a true Kelly, even if the photos don’t show it as such…
