Why:
If you’ve caught up and had a chance to read yesterday’s posts - this sort of pulls them all together.  First up - I did a little shopping yesterday at Anthropologie and this is one of the pieces I picked up - totally out of character for me to buy something full price there (let alone two items), but I really love the skirt and I can see it transitioning to fall nicely.  Plus I wore it for my Mad Men Casting call photo!! (You can vote once per day!). It definitely has a timeless quality to it!

Later I switched out of the Mad Men inspired outfit into a cotton blouse for bike riding. I always feel so ‘me’ when I’m on a bike, in a full skirt, just coasting off the hills of Prospect Park. Leisurely bike riding is one of my favorite ways to relax.

So everyone! Have a great weekend!!  I’ll be stiring and shaking those cocktails on Sunday night in preparation of my favorite tv show (I guess I need to call and order cable today?) and sporting a very Betty D look for Monday’s post.
