Layered denim button down: vintage Montgomery Ward
Boots: c/o Justin for Fossil (last summer)
Watch: Timex
Shades: Fred Flare
Where:
Snacking and Shopping on Pearl Street in Boulder, CO
Why:
Here’s a glance at what I wore for our daytime adventures in Boulder. Our boutique hotel (The Bradley Boulder Inn) is just a short block off the main shopping area. We started our day at the Mountain Sun Brewery for lunch (get the Date Night burger!! It’s mind blowing!) and then worked our way through the outdoor mall.
Almost all of the pieces in this look were packed for me by my friends at Denim and Supply Ralph Lauren. I’ve never been big into rips and tears with my denim, so I was thrilled to get a handful of compliments for this pair while walking around town! It’s fun to try out a new look! The comfy and cozy and hat sweater duo were probably my most worn pieces for the entire trip. I actually wore them for camping a couple days earlier so they had remnants of the smokey campfire smell. Not everyone loves that aroma, but this girl does!
I’m on track for a fantastic weekend and I hope all of you are as well! Enjoy some fall foliage, eat pumpkin flavored anything and remember that random acts of kindness make the world go ‘round. Happy Friday!

What:
Necklace: Gift from Adam
Jacket, Snap Up Shirt, Scarf, Pants (similar):
c/o Denim and Supply Ralph Lauren
Boots: Frye (c/o Need Supply 2009)
Where:
Ft. Collins, CO
Why:
Perhaps you’re looking at these photos and noticing a familiar element. If you spotted the same snap up shirt two days in a row, Bingo!
Here’s the scoop: When my friends at Denim and Supply Ralph Lauren heard I was headed for a vacation out west, they offered to help me pack my suitcase (although I hand picked everything out myself). Who am I to say no to that?! The collection has a well worn and rustic feel to it, which was perfect for a week’s worth of adventures outside. And because I liked so many of the pieces so much (and because a gal only has so much suitcase space), I ended up wearing many of the pieces twice.
This is what I wore for what Adam and I called “Bikes and Brews.” Our incredibly beautiful and awesome hotel, The Armstrong, had complimentary bicycles rentals which we used to cruise the bike friendly streets of Fort Collins and between breweries. We hit up O’Dells and New Belgium (of Fat Tire fame) and had an excellent time at both spots. We did two flights worth of tasting (about 1 beer each) at O’Dells (sadly we missed the tour) and then rode over to NB for a 90 minute tour and tasting. Both spots were awesome, but Adam and I really loved New Belgium. They’re incredibly people and eco focused (mega sustainable and coworker owned) and you can tell it’s a place people love to work.

Just about every part of the country is waking up to cool mornings and going to bed with chilly evenings with a warm Indian summer day in between - which is how the weather went in Colorado. I’m glad I layered up because I definitely needed my jacket once dinner time rolled around.
