Friendship Shoe Favorites!
WhatIWore: A few months ago, I encouraged you guys to purchase the Friendship Shoe to support the Fresh Air Fund and DIY them up. Here are my favorites!! Top pair are the ones I worked on, the tangerine steppers are from Mary and the bottom hand painted beauties are from Britteny (which she sent to me and I will be wearing tomorrow!)
What I Wore DIY Contest!!
WhatIWore: The folks at Payless gave me a heads up on these canvas Airwalk Friendship Shoes. They are literally a blank canvas to work your creative magic (the come with three markers!!). Payless is donating 100% of the net profits off this shoe to the Fresh Air Fund, an organization that sends inner city kids to summer camps (and if you’ve ever been to camp, you know in your heart what an awesome experience it is).
So, here’s the contest: I am going to decorate a pair of shoes to trade, in the spirit of friendship, with one of you! I’ll wear your shoes on What I Wore and you can wear mine!! I’ll pick my top 3 favorites to feature here and trade with the grand prize winner (as voted for by you!) I have a size 8.5!! Whether you decided to decorate a pair or not, they really are a great basic summer shoe and at an excellent price too. And the Fresh Air Fund is really what its all about. :)
