WhatIWore: I’m really loving summer this year, spending my days working at coffee shops, hitting the pool and taking dreamy long third trimester naps in the AC. Although my schedule has changed and I’m no longer renting space at my old coop studio, I still like to get up and get dressed and get out of the house each day. I wore this a few times during vacation but never snapped photos, so I also threw it on Monday morning to run errands around town. It’s a cheapie from Nordstrom Rack and not maternity, but that elastic bodice makes it really comfortable! I think I’ll also try it as a skirt with a striped or white top for a cooler evening this summer!
WhatIWore: Nothing too special to say about this simple outfit - it’s the kind of basic, everyday thing I’ve been wearing a lot of lately. Yesterday I went to visit my friends and their new baby and if holding a sleeping three week old doesn’t give you baby fever, I don’t know what will! As our nursery comes together and I start re-reading my favorite childbirth books I get more and more excited about what’s just around the corner. Life is pretty great right now.
WhatIWore: Ahhhh summer! It really is my favorite time of year - especially summer mornings. Adam and I took these photos early on Saturday morning after walking down the street to an awesome yard sale (where we bought a REALLY cool bike that’s going to get a makeover for Cardinal Spirits!). I often skip blow drying or curling my hair in the summer and I love rocking out the Heidi braids. Plus… I’m wearing one of my favorite summer bargains - my kimono style light weight jacket.
