WhatIWISHIWore: Sometimes I like to do a little online browsing for inspiration and play games like “what I would do if I won the lottery”. With the holiday weekend in mind I skipped over to ModCloth to check out their dresses. And la ti da, look what I found. Don’t these just scream Jessica? I love them! From top left to right:

What I Wish I Wore...
I’ve been picking up quite a few pairs of vintage gloves lately and just stubbled upon this pair that Sally Jane Vintage spotlighted a year ago. I’d like to figure out how to make them myself, either by knitting (no skillz!) or crocheting (average skillz) myself. I can image them with a ladylike coat and handbag.
Why, why, why!??!
First off— the blue and white contrast is just lovely.
Secondly— the little cross marks are adorable and give it a handicraft look
Lastly— the cuff has such a perfect little peplum edge. Cute cute cute.
What I WISH I Wore...
I don’t exactly go shopping to complete an outfit. I’d actually prefer to only buy things that I would actually wear that day (coats and swimsuits are the exceptions). Anyway, If you scroll down you’ll see the amazing jacket and blouse combo I bought from White Dove NYC this weekend. I’m totally envisioning this look completely by the perfect pair of jeans and some black ankle booties.
So…I’m in the market for a pair of high waisted jeans… I like the above Earnest Sewn pair from Shopbop.com. The key components are the super high waist and the slim leg (they look nice and long too!) but I really REALLY want to find something in a bleached out gray color. Anyone have the scoop on such a pair? Let me know! (For $100 or less)
