Speaking of Rompers...

WhatIWore: I’ve been digging them for a few years now. Above is a Topshop number I sported last summer. Also worn here (in 2007!), here, and here.
What I Wore: In Bold Type

WhatIWore:
When:
April 28, 2009
What:
Dress: quick hemmed, vintage, etsy
Scarf (as Belt): belonged to my mom
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang
Where:
Work!
Why:
I’ve been wanting to hem and wear this dress for a while, so this morning I just got scissor happy and chopped 5” off!! No fancy hem (well, no hem at all), just the raw edge. Oh well. Looks more youthful that way, don’t ya think? I love wearing this scarf that belonged to my mom. Anything of my mom’s from when she was my age is pretty much the coolest thing ever. You all know I love vintage, but my mom’s vintage?!? That’s just so neat to me.
What I Wore: Life is But a Dream

WhatIWore:
When:
April 27, 2009
What:
Pink Scarf: ebay
White Tank: Target
Belt: Target
Dress (worn as a skirt): Plenty by Tracy Reese
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang
Where:
Work
Why:
Ahhh… it is BEAUTIFUL in New York today. Cooler weather may be coming, but there’s no reason to be shy about today’s high of 80 degrees. Skipping a jacket all together, I just threw on a big pink pashmina with my skirt and tank combo. The skirt is actually a dress…. a dress I left in the window for too long and ended up getting a little bleached out at the top. No worries!! I just folded the bodice under and added a belt to keep the skirt up. Make the most of what you have!! (or when you have $$$ dresses you can’t bear to throw out!!). La la la. So lovely.

WhatIWore:
When:
March 10, 2009
What:
Scarf: Anthropologie
Sweater: thrifted, vintage, Beacon’s
Jeans: free from work (TRF)
Flats: Target
Where:
The office
Why:
Ahhhh! I was running so late this morning because of a few little technology glitches with What I Wore, so after taking care of all that, I just threw this on. Luckily I put together a few outfits over the weekend. Life saver, really! So easy and casual. I look short in flats.
