Why:
Mama’s got a crush on her footwear!! I’m not a huge shoe gal, but I do love boots and these pretties are just… so pretty! I’ve also this sweater on my mind after seeing Erin’s aztec look a while back. I don’t love the blue jeans (wish I still had black) but sometimes you just have to make the most of what you have.
On a side note - I STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT TO BE FOR HALLOWEEN!! It definitely needs to involve some fancy, over the top makeup and not sure if I want to be any of the 5 ideas I already came up with. Is it a shame to go as Edie Sedgwick again? That’s where I’m leaning…

Why:
Yesterday was pretty crummy outside, but for a short window of time in the late afternoon, the sun came out and my motivation to change out of sweats was alive! I LOVE THIS OUTFIT. It might be my favorite ever! First off all, I’m madly in love with the boots which look like antiques and are the kind of thing that makes any so-so outfit really wow. I also love this vintage dress - it actually cost $100 and I bought it 3 years ago and wear it all the time. It was actually my go-to party dress when I didn’t have any fancy clothes back in the day (I wore it like this). The hat is to cover up my hair (dirty).
The last bit is the fur collar, which gave me pause a year ago when I was vegan, but I am fine with wearing now - its vintage and a small part of the coat it originally came from. I don’t have a problem with vintage furs, but definitely wouldn’t buy new.
What are your thoughts on fur - vintage or new?

Why:
Can you believe is already the last week of October? Thankfully, there have been some nice temps during the daytime and I’m still able to get away with walking down the street with a light jacket or no jacket at all.
Today I took another shot at pattern play - this time taking two very similar color palettes and combining a large paisley with a plaid. I like it! With exception of the necklace, everything else is really tame here. This is what I call having fun with fashion. It might not be my signature look, but it looks good in the time being.
