Just found this photo my friend Courtney took of me back in March. We were getting our afternoon coffee at Pret when I spotted the April issue of Lucky on the newsstand. I wasn’t expected it for another couple of days and immediately bought two copies. This was such a happy, happy day for me.

Speaking of getting Lucky, you’ve all probably figured out that I indeed won the Lucky Brand contest and spent the part of the past week in sunny Los Angeles as an assistant stylist for a photo shoot. Amazing experience!! Pictures and re-cap to come shortly!!

Well, this is the third outfit I not only tried on, but took pictures of.  This is why its good to have some really simple pieces in your closet when you just can’t figure out what to wear. The weather in NYC is warmish and that makes heavy wools feel all wrong. But its still no Miami either. Balancing a short sleeve jersey dress with heavy tights and boots works just right for me today. Plus its like wearing an all over body sweatshirt. How cozy!!
