Why:
On Friday, one of my very best friends stopped by NYC after a 2 week trip to Peru. He was super thoughtful and brought me back this beautiful alpaca sweater. This is the second time I’ve worn it since then! I love it. The rich earthtones are keeping me happy and warm. I’m wearing it with a plaid skirt (totally clashing! mwahahah!) in the same color story. I wanted the sweater to be the highlight so I went monotone on the tights and boots. I also have a shot of my coat and scarf in there. Its a vintage piece that had a fur collar (I took that off).
Wearing a new outfit always makes me happy. Even happier that I will always think of my friend each time I wear the sweater. Happy Monday.
Sewing Class

WhatIWore:
I know a lot of you are ready to go for the sewing class. I want to be as thorough as possible in getting all of the materials together and ready, and I have been writing each lesson, working on diagrams and so forth.
Please be patient! I am still posting the class and it will be here on What I Wore. It will be a move at your own pace process as well, so don’t worry if you don’t join in at the beginning.
Thanks!
Jessica
